These eight building blocks of brands, according to this article, make the life of the nonprofit easier by opening doors for them, attracting support, and bringing in resources. These building blocks which include having an intended impact a recognized leader, great funders, communication, and effective budget are just some of the tools to keep in mind while building and maintaining your nonprofit.
One such point, “few nonprofits have powerful brands” is quite true, but close to impossible to accomplish. In addition, the expense of creating the brands and all the effort that goes into it, can sometimes cost more than the value which it brings. While this can be a necessary risk in order to build your brand and community of supporters, it is important to know which strategies are truly helpful and effective.
